Eddie joined the City of Borger in 1980 as a Water Maintenance Supervisor in the Water Department. In 1987 Eddie was promoted to Water Maintenance Superintendent and in 1998 to Assistant Director of Utilities. In February 2006, the Borger City Council confirmed the appointment of Eddie as Assistant City Manager. Appointed as City Manager on April 1, 2010.

Eddie holds a TCEQ Grade B Surface Water and a Grade B Wastewater license, a TDLR Master Electrician, and is a Certified Public Manager. Eddie is a member of the American Water Works Association, the Texas City Management Association, the Texas Human Resources Association, and the Texas Water Utilities Association.

Eddie is a life long resident of Borger and has been married to his wife, Cambden, for 27 years. Together they are the parents of Thomas and James and proud grandparents to Kaden and Mackenzie. Eddie is a private pilot and enjoys recreational flying, motorcycle riding, wood working and traveling. Eddie is a member of the First Baptist Church of Borger.
