The Borger Communications center is the telecommunications
heart of Hutchinson County. Personnel dispatch for
Borger Police, Hutchinson County Sheriff's Deputies,
Fritch Police, Stinnett Police, area State Troopers,
National Park Service, as well as for the Fire Department
of Borger, Fritch, and Stinnett.
In addition to answering telephone calls from the
public and radio traffic from the previously listed
agencies, they are the central point for receiving
county-wide 911 calls for Police, Fire, and EMS.

In 2005 there were over 10,000 calls for service
just within the City of Borger for Police Services.
Borger Telecommunicators have been honored with the
Public Safety Silent Hero Award in 2002 and in 2003.
